Fomexco conducts fire prevention and rescue drills

On May 9, 2025, Fomexco Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Binh Phuoc Province to organize a fire prevention and rescue drill. This activity is to respond to the "Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025"; and to improve response capacity, build a responsible and cohesive working environment... for employees. This has also been an annual activity of the company for many years.

The hypothetical situation in the drill simulated a fire occurring in the organic cashew raw material warehouse with thick smoke, people trapped and assets needing to be evacuated. When the alarm signal sounded, Fomexco staff quickly activated a methodical handling procedure including: reporting the incident, cutting off the power, extinguishing the fire on the spot, moving people and property, mobilizing support forces and rescuing victims. Each stage of the drill was implemented methodically, reflecting the correct on-site handling mechanism and closely coordinating with specialized forces.

In May, Fomexco coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police to deploy a training course for staff on fire prevention and fighting, and rescue. They were instructed and practiced many essential skills in emergency situations, including using fire extinguishers, operating water hoses, evacuating property, escaping according to procedures and principles of first aid support for victims.
Fomexco always focuses on organizing training activities on incident response skills, especially fire prevention and fighting and rescue, creating a cohesive and trustworthy working environment for employees.
