While many agricultural commodities exported to the Chinese market, the commodities slump processed nuts to have prospered.
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, exports of cashew nuts in the first half of January 10/2019 18.6 thousand tons, valued at 128.22 million, down 19.9% in volume and 19.3% in value compared with the second half of May 9/2019, compared to first half of January 10/2018 28.6% in volume and 3.9% in value. Accumulated from January to mid-May 10/2019, exports reached 346.9 thousand tons of cashew nuts worth US $ 2.524 billion, an increase of 21.4% in volume, but decreased 5.0% in value over the same period 2018.

Report cashew industry first half of January 10/2019 showed that the average export price of cashew nuts reached 6,896 USD / ton, up 0.8% compared with the second half of May 9/2019, but decreased 19.2% compared the first half of January 10/2018. Accumulated since the beginning of this year to mid-May 10/2019, the average export price of cashews at 7,276 USD / ton, down 21.7% from the same period in 2018
